life is hapenning in the body.
Our bodies are the space in which we experience and interact with the world, carrying us through the journey of life. Within us, the channels of energy are in a constant, dynamic flow, transmitting information that influences our thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being.
Through consciously engaging with these channels, we unlock the potential to live more fully, cultivating a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
my practices
Asana
With roots in Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga, I have developed a dynamic but precise flow that, following the teachings of Krishnamacharya, adjusts differently for each individual. The practice is in constant flux and adaptation, responding to the necessities of the seasons we experience and go through.
Breath
Breath is the cornerstone of holistic health, bridging the body, mind, and spirit. By consciously guiding our breath, we can regulate our nervous system, enhance mental clarity, and support emotional balance. This simple yet profound practice fosters a deeper connection to ourselves, promoting overall well-being and vitality.
I am thankful to my guides for the various Pranayama techniques they have selflessly passed on to me as the basis for a conscious spiritual practice.
Sound
I am on an infinite journey to exploring the vibrational power of sound to restore balance and harmony within the body.
Sound resonates with our energy centres, reducing stress, clearing blockages, and promoting deep healing, making it a powerful tool in holistic health.
For this, I am giving group and individual sessions, both with acoustic and electronic instruments.
Who I am
My name is AnaRosa. For as long as I can remember, sound and music have been my steadfast companions, helping me stay grounded through the ever-changing cycles of life. This deep bond naturally led me to explore the profound effects of sound on the body, ultimately enabling me to share this transformative power with others through the exploration of various techniques and instruments.
I began practising yoga at age 21, first immersing myself in the traditions of Iyengar and later Ashtanga. In those early years, I diligently followed the teachings and structures of both schools. However, I soon realized that my life—rooted in an urban environment and shaped by the responsibilities of modern family life—required a different approach. I embraced a more compassionate understanding of asana, recognizing that true yoga lies in attuning to my own needs and honouring my body’s boundaries.
Breath lies at the centre of all I do. It ignites awareness, expands consciousness, sustains our health, and reflects our relationship to our system and environment. In sound or asana, I use breath as the bridge between body, mind and spirit.
